How do I book the cottages?

Please use the Enquiry Form under the “Booking” link of this website. We will reply to your Purbasthali Pakhiralay booking enquiry with availability and other terms and conditions. What are the Cancellation rules?

Full pre-payment for accommodation on all bookings is compulsory.
Cancellation request received 10 days prior to arrival, will be refunded at 90% on the total billed amount.
Cancellation request received 6-9 days prior to arrival, will be refunded at 75% on the total billed amount.
Cancellation received 3-5 days prior to arrival, will be refunded at 50% on the total billed amount.
Cancellation received 48 hours prior to arrival, NO REFUND will be allowed.
During the stay or on arrival, if part cancellations are requested, NO REFUND will be allowed.

Do you have transport arrangements for sightseeing?

Yes, our caretaker can make arrangements for local Purbasthali sightseeing in toto. Charges are payable on spot. If you take your own vehicle, he will guide you about the directions.

Is car parking available?

Yes, there is a designated parking area near the cottages. During season time parking fees will be applicable.

Can Barbeque be arranged?

We can make arrangements for barbeque. After room booking, ask the caretaker. Barbecue arrangements are made locally on prior request only. Barbecue charges are extra payable on spot.

Do you make arrangements for boats?

Yes, boats can be arranged by our caretaker. The Ghat (boat point) is near to the cottage area. Boating charges additional.

Do you give pick-up services from Purbasthali Railway Station?

The Totos at the Purbasthali Railway Station would bring you to Pakhiralay (around 4 kms). The Totos are available till evening. However, if you want, we can arrange a Toto for your pick-up from Purbasthali Railway Station.

Do you make arrangements for fishing in the lake?

Yes, guests can enjoy fishing (angling) while staying in our cottages. You are advised to carry your own fishing equipments. Fishing in the lake is not chargeable.

How to reach Purbasthali?

By Train – There are local as well as passenger trains to Purbasthali Station from Howrah and Sealdah Stations. You can check erail.in for train timings.
By Road (from North Kolkata) – Kalyani Expressway – Jhulonia More (Bansberia) on State Highway 6 – Kalna – Dhatrigram – Samudragarh – Parulia Bazar – Kasthshali Market – Pakhiralay Cottages.
By Road (from South Kolkata) – Cross the Second Hooghly Bridge (Vidyasagar Setu) – Kona Expressway – Dankuni to Gurap via AHI (Durgapur Expressway) – Kalna – Dhatrigram – Samudragarh – at Parulia Bazar – Kasthshali Market – Pakhiralay Cottages.
